Filling in of the crown

I will be relocating from Montreal to Florida next month.  I will be residing in S. Daytona Beach and I am in search of a hair transplant specialist.

I am a qualified candidate as I just had a consultation with a Doctor who is a specialist in hair transplant here in Montreal, however since I am relocating I was wondering about having this procedure done in Florida instead.

I am seeking to have the crown area filled in as much as possible-  am 42 years old, and seek the most natural appearing result.

Would you kindly advise me what kind of work I would need, as well as your availability.

Thank you kindly.

Typically to obtain any sort of results in the crown, a very large number of grafts must be transplanted.  In your case, I would estimate a procedure of 1800 to as many as 2200  grafts into this area.  Essentials to achieving a natural appearing result include the placement of the grafts in a radial fashion, and in your case, because you have dark hair, the use of exclusively 1 and 2 hair grafts.

Done properly, your results should be quite nice-  not really thick however.  I also suggest you consider going on Propecia to help slow down the progression of hair loss.
