The megasession is the most modern way to achieving the growth of a full head of hair, in the shortest period of time. In a megasession, up to 3000 follicular-unit micrografts can be transplanted in a single procedure lasting five to six hours.
These follicular units, containing one to three, occasionally four hairs apiece (the natural grouping of hairs), are transplanted in a natural pattern throughout the scalp, providing coverage of most to all bald areas. As with other hair transplant procedures, most regular activities can be resumed the next day, and growth of the hairs occurs in as soon as two months. Some patients will have a second procedure performed to provide further hair density. |
