 Glenn M. Charles, D.O., of Boca Raton, has specialized exclusively in surgical hair restoration for the past 12 years, where he has earned a reputation as a particularly talented and respected surgeon. He takes great pride in providing his patients with the most undetectable results and the finest donor site scars. He is an honest, caring, and energetic doctor who takes the time to get to know his patients. Because he is directly involved in all aspects of each surgery and because such individual attention to detail is required for each patient, Dr. Charles generally limits his practice to one to two hair transplant procedures daily. His perfectionist approach demands that each graft be placed with precise angulation and direction, allowing for exceptional results that are both natural and undetectable. The Secretary of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, Dr. Charles not only is certified by this board, but also serves as a member of its Examination Committee. He was the first surgeon recruited by Dr. Epstein to become part of the Foundation for Hair Restoration, due to his outstanding reputation and great interpersonal skills. In addition to his busy clinical practice, Dr. Charles regularly contributes articles to the scientific literature, and serves as a faculty lecturer at the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery annual conference and live surgery workshops. He is a member of numerous medical societies including The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), the prestigious International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgery (IAHRS), the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons, and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Born in Buffalo, New York, and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Charles obtained his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Medicine in North Miami Beach, Florida. Dr. Charles spent his internship and residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Michigan State University affiliated hospitals.
